Tsambika

On the main road Rhodes - Lindos (4 km behind Kolymbia) a road runs to the left leading to a hill crowned by the small church Kyra Tsambika. After 3/4 of this way you must park the car or the bicycle. The rest of the way you must walk (approx. 15 minutes). For this effort you are compensated with a wonderful view over the beaches of Afandou, Kolymbia and Tsambika and inwards over the island.

Back to the main road Rhodes - Lindos, 300 meters behind the road to the church Kyra Tsambika a road runs also to the left and leads to the wonderful beach of Tsambika (1 1/2 km). This golden sandy beach is ideal for the whole family.

From the tavern "Panorama" (300 meters behind the new church of Tsambika, directly on the main road Rhodes - Lindos) you have a nice view to the Tsambika hill with the church and down to the beach. The meals in the tavern are good and you can enjoy them under trees.
