Ialyssos beach

The beach of Ialyssos is on the west coast (8 km south of Rhodes-town). The beach consists predominantly of pebbles. Most of the time the sea is rough and it goes rapidly into deep water. You must reckon with noise of aeroplanes landing. The water sports supply isn't very extensive, but this area is very good for windsurfing. Sun beds and sunshades are available for hire. There are some restaurants and supermarkets in the nearer environs.
